01/20/2025

Today we did “Sign Evangelism”! We split into teams and took to the streets to ask people questions, offer prayer and have conversations about the goodness of Jesus! We were able to talk to over 50 people and were able to see 1 salvation! Praise the Lord!

01/18/2025

FAITH DAY! Today we went to the bus station and asked God to send to where He wanted us. Once we felt Him speak, we got on a bus and went to where ever He had spoken. Our team ended up at a city called “Kruje” which is a city on the Mountain in Albania! We were able to hand out Bibles, preach the gospel and pray for the residents. One young lady got her back healed by the Lord! Praise God!

Sophie and I were blessed to be given the chance to teach and share about Jesus to different groups of Albanian believers. Sophie was able to share on the kindness of God and Max was able to share about the Victory that Jesus brings.

Ministry in Albania has been a little bit of everything! From helping under-resourced communities to street evangelism to serving the local church, we have been trying everything and anything to spread the name and Love of Jesus.

Albania gained freedom from Communism just over 30 years ago, so many of the residents are still needing freedom from the trauma and distrust that the communist government put in them. Less than 0.5% of Albania follows Jesus. Many of the neighboring Muslim countries will actually send money to store owners in Albania if they will claim that their business is a “Muslim Business”. A sad attempt to try and gain the hearts of the Albanian people but Jesus will touch this land with Revival! Free of charge 😉

01/02/2025
After being in Texas for a week, the Lord moved on our hearts that we still needed to go to Albania to finish what we started! On our first flight to Albania, Sophie was able to sit next to this lady and preach the gospel. After hearing about Jesus, this woman gave her life to Jesus and was filled with the Holy Spirit! such an amazing move of the the goodness of God on that plane!

12/22/24: life took a turn as we were on our flight to Colorado. Half way through Max was having hot and cold flashes and ended up passing out. Sophie was sleeping when this all happened and woke up to the flight attendants asking if there was any medical professions on the plane. She ran to the back and saw it was Max. They said it was a mixture of phenomena, altitude sickness, fever, and an “overdose” of albuterol medication.

We landed and went to the hospital. Max’s parents flew in and we ended up driving back with them to Texas, where we are now. Max is resting and we will be evaluating travel plans and praying to see what the best plan of action is!

Thank you for all your prayers! We appreciate all the love and will keep everyone updated! God has been so good and has protected us throughout all the chaos.

12/21/24: TODAY IS THE DAY WE LEAVE TO SPREAD THE GOSPEL IN ALBANIA!!!!

12/20/24 Update: Tomorrow is the big day. Our team of 14 will be leaving Kona, HI and start our long trip to Albania. We will get to spend some time in Denver with a couple local connections at some great churches and then head across the ocean to Europe. Many exciting testimonies to come! We can’t wait to see how God will move in Albania!

12/11/2024: Sophie got to speak at a, “Brave Love” Event. It’s an all womens event her and her school put on. 11/20/24: We have about 5 more weeks left on the YWAM base in Hawaii. On December 21st we take off traveling 40 hours with 19 hours in the air, landing in Tirana Albania on Christmas Eve!

These last couple of weeks consist of worship nights with our team praying for Albania and interceding for this nation, Studying the Qur’an, and doing a lot of team bonding activities! (Follow our team instagram for updates @albania_f_f)

11/19/2024: My sister in law and I started a Womens Bible Study every Tuesday morning before classes!!! This week we decided to switch it up- woke up at 6AM to go get coffee and do our Bible study on the beach! It was the best morning yet. We went over James, shared stories, asked personal questions, and got so filled up in the word! love these girls!

10/28/2024: During this time on campus we have work duty at the farm! It was the LAST place we wanted! haha! But it has been one of our favorite things. On the farm there are chickens, pigs, cats, a bunny, fish, and A LOT of hard labor work to get done. Since we work there everyday we have gotten very close to our “co-workers” and that’s why we love it so much.

10/20/2024: Hello everyone! We have officially been at YWAM, Kona for 3 weeks! We have been blessed to see the Lord work in many ways. On a personal level we have seen lots of personal sharpening and spiritual pruning. According to the Bible that means we are in for some Mighty Fruit to be produced (John 15:1-2, Hebrews 12:5-6). During these past 3 weeks we have been able to pour into many young students at YWAM and preach organically in public to locals and travelers, from lukewarm Christians to fire deity worshipers, any chance we see an opportunity to spread the love of Jesus and display the power of God, we take it! One of the most exciting update so far is that we have found out our out reach location! In December, we will be headed to ALBANIA with a team of 14! We are itching to get out there and bring in the harvest for Jesus. Thank you all for the continued support! We truly appreciate every prayer and financial seed sown into our ministry. Every ounce of fruit that in produced in the next 6 month, you are personally a part of and the Lord will reward you for your obedience to His word. Thank you for the support you’ve given to furthering The Lord’s Kingdom.

10/10/2024: If we’re being honest it is different being the married and “older” couple in the YWAM world while also being a student but we felt a call to pour into these students and run this race with them. We started teaching students how to effectively evangelize and they are hungry!

In May of 2024, the Lord spoke to Max at a revival night in Minneapolis while He was preaching, that he and Sophie would be doing the fall DTS at YWAM, Kona. Sophie received confirmation as well from the Lord and they started the process of applications for YWAM. Max & Sophie will be starting their Discipleship training on Oct. 2nd, 2024.
